Packaging and recycling
Bottle/Jar: Glass. Upcycle and reuse at home. Alternatively recycle with green bottles in your kerbside recycling or at your local bottle bank.
Glass bottle with snap on pump: It’s not possible to separate the pump from the glass bottle. Bring your used bottle to participating stores and we will recycle them for you.
Label: Peel off the bottle, double over and recycle with plastic bags.
Dropper: Hard to recycle as they are made from glass, plastic & rubber. We don’t recommend separating in case of injury. If separated the glass dropper tube can be recycled with glass, commonly in your kerbside recycling or at household waste recycling centres, and the plastic & rubber section can be recycled at participating Neal’s Yard Remedies stores.
Lid: Plastic. These are made from PP and are recyclable but not all local authorities accept them yet. Please check with your local authority if they can be disposed of in kerbside recycling or at a collection point. Remove the lid and recycle separately.
Tube: These are made from PE and are recyclable but not all local authorities accept them. Check with your local authority if they can be disposed of in kerbside recycling or at collection points.
Carton: Our card comes from FSC certified woodland and, since 2012, has offset over 300 tonnes of C02 with World Land Trust. We’ve helped this charity protect over 2,800,000m2 of endangered forest to date. They are fully recyclable at kerbside.
